Beneath the surface, the core layers include British fleece wool for moisture regulation, the long, naturally crimped Moosburger® horsetail to resist compression and maintain loft, and a finer blend of Real Shetland Wool with cashmere for a softer transition that modulates temperature without trapping heat. The upholstery continues with Real Shetland Wool and organic cotton for body and absorbency, then the spring system features two layers of hand-nested, vanadium steel calico pocket springs with 3,296 springs in a King size, ensuring weight- and movement-responsive support. The border is reinforced with coir and wool and four rows of hand side-stitching to extend the usable surface and preserve the profile over years of use, finished with woollen tufts and twine for a stable, consistent depth at every tuft point.
